Rancho Obi-Wan does not provide consulting, appraisals or evaluations for Star Wars collectibles. Many of Steve’s books provide information about collectibles as well as books written by members of our Board of Directors. In addition, there are many groups on Facebook dedicated to discussing Star Wars collectibles as well as the forums on collectible websites such as Rebelscum.com.

We suggest you use eBay’s completed listings search to determine current collectible pricing trends.

Rancho Obi-Wan does not use any funds raised as a nonprofit to purchase or ship collectibles. We would gladly accept an in-kind donation of your item. Contact us if you are interested in donating your item.

Visiting (16)

All bags and coats must be checked at the door. Bags required for medical reasons are allowed.

Children ages 6 and over can tour Rancho Obi-Wan. There cannot be any unaccompanied children under the age of 16, and one supervising adult is required for every two children under the age of 13. Please advise your younger wards that no touching is allowed.

It has been our experience that Younglings under the age of six typically become bored, fidgety and disruptive because tours can be long and the subject matter rather in-depth. We do not have Disneyesque interactive experiences to hold their attention. To encourage a quality tour for all our guests we do not allow Younglings under the age of six on the tour.

No outside food or drink allowed inside the museum. Bottles water is available free to visitors.

Photos and video are allowed and encouraged. They are for personal use only and can be posted to your social media applications.

Please do not touch or pick up any item in the collection unless handed to you by your guide. You are responsible for any damage you cause to the collection or the building.

No. Since this is our home and we are not open to the public we only allow visits through scheduled tours booked in advance.

No, only one person in your group needs to be a current supporting Member of Rancho Obi-Wan in order to purchase tickets. Become a Member today!

Tour length ranges between two and four hours.

Tours may include up to 12 people, including people from groups other than your own. All guests must submit their names, addresses, email and phone numbers in advance. One person in each group must be a current supporting Member of Rancho Obi-Wan. We do not guarantee admission and have the right to refuse entry to anyone.

Rancho Obi-Wan is not open to the public. Since this is our home we only give guided tours on Saturdays. These tours are usually booked 6-8 weeks in advance. But there just might be an opening so be sure to check availability. Otherwise, we hope to see you the next time you are in the area.

Since this is our home we do not publish our address. You will receive an email the week before your tour with directions and instructions.

Please let us know ahead of time if you require access via a wheelchair or stroller. There are several sections of stairs and no wheelchair accessible restroom at this time, but we can arrange the tour so that people using wheelchairs and large strollers can view 85% of the museum.

One-site parking is available inside the Rancho Obi-Wan gate only at the time of your tour. Since Rancho Obi-Wan is located in a rural residential area please be considerate of our neighbors by not arriving early for your tour. Parking on the street is not permitted and walking is dangerous because of the narrow road with no sidewalks.

On Saturdays we can sometimes add a second tour if the first tour is sold out. If you have a full group of 12 we can sometimes schedule tours at off times. Contact us for more information.

Tours can be cancelled up to 12 hours in advance and be rescheduled within the Membership year. Please call if you are going to be late for your tour. A phone number will be supplied when you book your tour.

The available tour dates are listed in the drop down list in the “Tour Rancho Obi-Wan” store listing. Select a date in the list and the number of available spaces on the tour will appear next to “Qty”.
