Having trouble getting your collection under control? Boxes everywhere? Overwhelm setting in? You’re not alone and it’s completely natural. It happens to everyone. And I mean EVERYONE. Here are some photos circa 2006, just after I arrived to help Steve get organized. -Anne
Even the smallest of comic conventions, hobby expos, toy shows, and fan fests can make for a fun family outing. I remember a small convention called Fan Days that took place in the Plano Event Center in Texas. That convention grew to become the massive Dallas Comic Con that eventually merged with Canada’s Fan Expo. Petaluma’s Hobby Expo has a focus on modeling, but also includes toys, other hobbies, and celebrities.
Alex used to work as a photographer for Industrial, Light & Magic. His skills became obvious when dealing with extremely reflective objects. C-3PO, anyone?

We’ve always had kids as visitors to Rancho Obi-Wan, even long before we were organized as a non-profit Star Wars museum in 2011: neighborhood kids, kids who are related to friends and neighbors and school kids on authorized class outings with their teachers and a few parents as chaperones.
